Daisy-chaining people as a conductive human wire?
Holler folks, how's yo'selves? So I'm putting on a show at XpoNorth (a music, design and film festival in the Scottish Highlands) and I plan on using my Makey Makey as the brain of my crowd-controlled-atmospheric-audio-emitter or The Steve for short.

Soldering
Is it safe and OK to solder wires to the MakeyMakey board?
Looking into placing the MakeyMakey in a box with the various connections, connected to sockets. This will allow me to plug in various buttons that I want to use as quiz night buzzers

Makey Makey v1.2 keys not offered in online remapping tool
Hello.
I have a Makey Makey v1.2 and I'd like to remap it with specific keys. I am aware I can do this through the online tool. However, within the online tool, there is no option for specific SHIFT keys like "{" or "<" that I'd like to remap. Is there...

Hey Ramisco,
Oh! That's how you're using Makey Makeys in your performances! Cool.

Hey Dude,
Unfortunately not. At this point the "modifier keys" aren't remappable.
Best,
Liam

Output based on array of input keys
Hi everyone
I'm completely new to the concept of Makey Makey and even Arduino.
Just wanted to know if there's a way to store the inputs of makey makey in say an array, and then based on the content of that array run a dc motor from the output.
Any help...

Can the Makey Makey still be used like an Arduino?
It seems as though I can't reprogram it with either the Leonardo mode or the Sparkfun mode on the Arduino IDE or codebender.
I have the JoyLabz Makey Makey v1.2 Model# 1.2AB
Thanks,
Justin.

Hey!
Yes, this is a tough one.
Any solution will require a bit of coding.
All I can offer is this other forum conversation. https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/119869-send-key-to-multiple-inactive-game-windows/
Hope that helps,

Re: Can the Makey Makey still be used like an Arduino?
Hey Justin,
Nope, the Makey Makey v1.2 can't be reprogrammed using Arduino.
If you want to change the keystrokes it outputs, you can easily do that via http://makeymakey.com/remap/
